Project Friend Raiser

Greetings from inner city Winnipeg!

Welcome to the Friend Raiser, our missionary support project. We (Jamie & Kim Arpin-Ricci) serve as Executive Co-Directors of Youth With A Mission Urban Ministries Winnipeg (YWAM UMW). Between the two of us, we have nearly 20 years in the mission, with more than 30 in ministry. Our combined ministries have taken us to more than 12 nations on 6 continents. We currently live and serve in the inner city of Winnipeg, MB, where we seek to minister to our neighbours with the active love and message of the Gospel. We seek to be "a missional community committed to purposefully and passionately training, involving and serving people in our pursuit of Christ-likeness, both locally & globally".

However, our ministry depends deeply upon the financial support of people like you. Every missionary with YWAM, from the founder down to the chief bottle washer, must raise their own financial support team from family, friends, churches and businesses. This is done through many forms of support and fundraising. For us, we don't simply want to raise funds, but raise friends. We want to come together with people who we can stand together with, to partner with to walk out our shared calling to love God and love our neighbour.

Recently, our committed monthly support has taken a significant drop. Additionally, we have been hit with several unexpected, significant expenses. In order to continue to serve God in the ministry we have called us to, we need to addresses these challenges. That's where you come in! So, welcome to Project Friend Raiser.
